No complaints here ...

I have been three times this summer and have been pleasantly surprised. My family really likes the lunch specials because they include a salad and drink. I have tried the pizza twice, and today I had the calzone. My wife ordered the baked zitti. Excellent!
However, I believe the lasagna is somewhat bland and needs more Italian spices.
The atmosphere is nice and gentle. The breadsticks that come with the pasta are most excellent.

Hit or Miss

We have been there about 5 or 6 times since it opened. I would have to say half of the visits were very good, and half were pretty bad. My advice is to order to go. Service is poor, owner is rude, tables are never clean. The food though is actually pretty good. Try the baked wings. They are not frozen and the dry rub is very tasty. The Pizza ia also pretty good.

Disappointing

I had high hopes for this place because it's so close to my house. But the pizza is not very good and very salty. The crust is not good.

I love this place. We went when they first opened and my only complaint was that we really didn't know how it worked... once I told them they let us know. I totally love the food! It's hot and fresh. It would be nice if they brought the plates when they brought the food but after the first time we made sure to get them before sitting down. Unlike the last review... I thought the owner was really nice (not to say he wasn't having a bad day that day). It's nice to go eat good food and not be bugged by waiters some times.

A few weeks ago we went to Palio's for a 2nd visit. First visit was OK. We ordered a pizza and cheese sticks. After our pizza was delivered, we had to go in twice and ask if our cheese sticks were ready. When they finally came, they were awful, yet the pizza was good. This second visit didn't go as well. When entering the restaurant, you place your order before sitting down. We ordered a pizza and wings. We went to sit down, but couldn't find a clean table although there were quite a few empty. When our food came, I couldn't see any banana peppers on my pizza, although I ordered them. I took my pizza up to a man who tried to "show" me where they were, and then he offered me some fresh ones. I agreed that that would be fine. He grabbed a few handfuls of WHOLE (not sliced, like they were the last time I ordered them on my pizza) peppers threw them in a bowl w/ an attitude, and slid the bowl at me. I slid it back at him and told him to forget it. He came over to our table as I was telling my friend what happened. He proceeded to tell me that he was just giving me my peppers, and that he has been there ALL DAY. I told him he was being a smart butt (not the word I used, but after paying $22 for a meal, I wasn't happy w/ his attitude), and if he didn't like his job, he shouldn't be working there. To my surprise, he told me he was the owner! I suggested he try another career. He left in a huff, came back, slammed the money down on our table (for our pizza) and told my friend that he didn't appreciate what I said. He also brought a pizza box. This was his way of telling us to leave, in my opinion. We left w/out the pizza.

I was just amazed that the owner of a restaurant would give a paying customer such attitude and then try to excuse himself by telling me that he "has been there all day!" like that was my decision.

Aside from all this, the tables and floor were dirty and I actually witnessed a worker clear a table after patrons left and never wipe it down! That in itself was all I needed to see.
