We have been going to Dos Charros for years. I have mixed feelings about it. The food is good but some of the wait staff that have been there a while are snotty and a bit on the rude side.

I have noticed price increases and for Mexican food it seems a tad bit high but it may be due to rising food costs. The one thing that is inexcusable though is the downsizing of food portions for more money.

In particular on the fajitas. The fajita meat (I got beef)on my last order looked like they had reduced the amount they are serving by 2/3 and it had been cut into TINY little strips. I guess so it would look like more than it actually was. For what I paid, I do not feel I got my moneys worth.

However, the other people I was dining with were satisfied with their meals and I thought their plates of food looked fine.

We have been trying to find a good mexican food restaurant in McKinney and this one is NOT it. The food was good but on the pricey side. It was very noisy and our waiter sucked! Overall disappointment...

our first visit to Dos Charros was last week. DH & I both had specials - I had the chef's snapper with shrimp dish (menu item) & it was delicious. DH had the T-bone daily special. The food was good. The service was excellent. We will try them again...

It was quite noisy when we were there. The original one in Wylie is my absolute favorite place to eat...a little smaller, but not so noisy..
